I help companies map the pathways that allow them to disrupt and grow, successfully, whilst anticipating and thwarting current and future competition. I’m the developer of the “Business Evolution Map” – a unique tool that allows executives to see their business terrain, the opportunities and challenges within it, and plan their strategies at speed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Much of my work involves driving people-centred transformation of large scale organisations and the rapid growth of small ones. I balance a lifetime of technical knowledge with a hard earned understanding of commercial realities, and utilise open communication and collaborative influencing skills both at executive level and in building and motivating teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I focus on turning large scale change into pragmatic and continuous evolution, at individual, team and organisational levels. My experience is broad and includes business strategy, digital transformation, a product based approach to software development, modelling and simulation. Artificial intelligence is nothing new to me – I’ve been building and working with neural networks since I first encountered them in 1985. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My understanding and respect for the potential conflicts between technological constraints, architectural complexities, and commercial imperatives has also enabled me to provide pivotal direction at critical stages in the evolution of small and large businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also present at conferences on matters ranging from effective organisational design, continuous evolution of business practices, and the adoption of new technologies, and am available for public speaking on these and other related topics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although my subject matter is primarily technology and business related, my focus is always on people and how they are impacted by change. I firmly believe that there is amazing talent in everyone and the art of true leadership is to find that light and allow it to shine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
